Assist probation officers with compiling and entering legal history in reports; and complete bail evaluations to assist the court and attorneys in making informed pretrial release decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
All tasks will be performed in accordance with county and department policy and procedure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Examples of typical duties may include but are not limited to the following.
Regular attendance according to the department approved work schedule, and developing and maintaining respectful and cooperative working relationships is required of all Sherburne County positions.
SERVICE DELIVERY Coordinate and conduct alcohol and drug testing.
Complete electronic monitoring hook-ups.
REPORTS AND DOCUMENTATION Complete pretrial bail evaluations.
Enter legal history for PSI's and other specified court reports.
Monitor compliance of pretrial clients on electronic monitoring and random testing and file violation reports when necessary.
Maintain accurate chronological recordings and client case data in CSTS.
Minimum Qualifications Two years post-secondary education in criminal justice, social work, behavioral science, or a related field; or Two years of work experience in Community Corrections/Probation, Health and Human Services, or Corrections/Residential Care.
Four Year Degree Preferred.
